i actually had the opportunity to diagnose a client with "exploding head syndrome" today...i'm not kidding, google it...do you have any idea how hard it is to keep a straight face as you utter the phrase "what you're describing sounds like the symptoms of exploding head syndrome"?...and how quickly you must explain to keep the client's head from truly exploding from anxiety and fear...sure, i could have used a more professional term like "auditory sleep...

by the way, do you all know that JD underwent back surgery last week? He's recuperating but it's tough, lot of pain, etc. So, let's all pull for the lad and hope it took, and that he can finally get on with life and work and play and all that stuff......

.....buy presents. Last year my eldest daughter got into shopping on craigslist, and it was pretty incredible what she was able to do with almost no dough. She shopped on eBay also, but it was the local stuff she found on craigslist that was the coolest. So, I've been doing it this year and it's been fun. I mean, driving way the hell across town and meeting someone in a parking lot has it's drawbacks, but it's been worth it. My sunday morning tip.
