Hey Ron,

Good luck with the House Concerts. They will be great. As for duets, Colette beat me to the punch with the John Prine collaborations on the "In Spite Of Ourselves". Others that come to mind include many of Buddy and Julie Miller's tracks, and the recent Kasey Chambers / Shane Nicholson "Rattlin' Bones". Another good one is by Texan Jesse Dayton and Brennen Leigh, a whole album of duets called "Holding Our Own (and other Country Gold Duets). One of my real favorites is an absolutely gorgeous duet by Lyle Lovett and Shawn Colvin on Bob Wills' "Faded Love" that appears on the Asleep At The Wheel CD "Ride With Bob", another favorite is Kevin Gordon and Lucinda Williams on the title track of Kevin's record "The Well." Another one is Kevin Welch and Deborah Peirce, singing "Why Baby Why" on a Webb Peirce tribute record. Going back awhile a real traditional example is David Frizell (son of Lefty) and Dottie West doing "Youre The Reason God Made Oklahoma." So, there's a few to be going on with. (Check your email).
