I snapped up The Cake Sale cd when it first hit the indie stores here in the US about two years back - I've been a huge fan of Lisa Hannigan since I first heard her sing with Damien Rice - you might want to see if "Volcano" fits on your list:

The Cake Sale is for a great cause - Oxfam - and there isn't a weak track on the disk (okay, maybe one but I won't say which...) I will say Nina Persson's cover of "Black Winged Bird" is simply beautiful, Josh Ritter channels the sound of the late, great Steve Goodman with his singing on "Vapour Trail", Gemma Hays take on The Frames' "All The Way Down" is a totally different and wonderful vibe than Marketa Irglova & Glen's version in the movie "Once". And, of course I'd listen to Lisa Hannigan sing the phone book, so her three tracks I find to be real gems. You can read about & sample the album at their website and link out to purchase as well:

Whilst on the off-topic topic of Oxfam, Neil Finn brought together some of the original cast members along with a whole new bunch of friends for 7 Worlds Collide (again) as a fund-raiser for Oxfam. The first rendition of 7 Worlds Collide is by far my favorite concert DVD, but then I am a huge Neil Finn/Tim Finn/Crowded House/Finn Bros./Liam Finn fan, but when you add the brilliant Lisa Germano, Johnny Marr, Eddie Vedder, Ed O'Brien & Phil Selway from Radiohead and Sebastian Steinberg as your supporting band, magic is bound to happen. This time around they lost Eddie, but gained Jeff Tweedy, Bic Runga & KT Tunstall. What a sequel! Here's a teaser from that:
