just on a side note- here-

it's not like it's a secret.. families are just as ill-equipped to handle PTSD as the sufferers themselves are... How many years into this conflict are we? Have we learned nothing since WWII? I mean, don't get me wrong, in this arena something is better than nothing, even if something that was better than nothing came late- but PLEASE PEOPLE!!!

to further the notion: here-

meanwhile another article was posted and since removed about 'the fog of war'.. that is two fold- the 'fog' is either the absolute confusion on the battlefield including the mental phenomenon that washes over you during such as well as the actual debris and haze/smoke littering the field which adds to the confusion.. The article posted started out saying "The Marine Corps suffers the highest suicide rate of all the services, but the simulator being built inside a vast enclosure closely resembling an Afghan village will train the Marines how to better respond..".. Uh, my reading skills are limited to be sure- but isn't that directly linking the things that happen in an 'Afghan village' to the suicide rate in the Marine Corps? What do they plan on doing that thing? Errrrrrr...... and the beat goes on..

anyway-

Victoria, Connie, Sue, Rhonda, Myriume, I thank you for your responses and your interest.. I've got a few people asking 'what are you up to, Drew?'.. and I have them talking.. consensus: We're proud in concept for what we've done- which is plain and simple: we've kept the fight over there and kept our children from having to do it instead of us.. They pretty much realize they are sacrificial to that cause, and accept it. It's sad nonetheless though. Nobody said anything is fair and me and my fellas just watched to many westerns growing up.. It's small potato's.. it's also what fate had planned which is outside control of all with exception of the Grand Puppet Master. Our lot in life is to make it work for us and not against us.. THAT, is what you call a gorilla grip.. We got a handle on it now and plan of action...
