My husband and I had the good fortune to see Justin Townes Earl a couple of weeks ago, an unbelievable talented (and skinny!!) guy. Chamaeleon-like in his
delivery of his splendid tunes. It got us to wishing and hoping for a visit from Kane Welch Kaplin some time in the near future? Any chance???? With the
northern-hemi dwellers heading into Winter, perhaps you can sun yourselves on our shores in between songs!

Firstly Rhonda, go for it placing the film on board. I just wish I could! Second, I could not believe my luck Kevin and Dustin together playing a fave. Dustin
Welch is a superb writer, gifted with that enviable skill to write a classic analogy. This song, "Two Horses", is a track from that wonderful album
mentioned in this place before entitled "Whiskey Priest". Perhaps Kevin, you can direct us to some information Dustin has provided about it....
anyway forgive me for harping, but his album "Whiskey Priest" is worth placing high on the BUY list. Sam179, I saw Justin in Brisbane also and
couldn't help thinking how fantastic it would be to have Dustin and Kevin perform together. Perhaps we should lobby for a father and son trip to Aus 1020.

I am compelled to be brutally honest and share a brief review of this video.
Kevin, I know how very proud you are of Dustin, but I beginning to wonder if you shouldn't feel a little threatened by his songwriting skill. What a song. You taught him well, but he's bringing something to the process that can only be born within. The visual aspects of this song are beautiful and the metaphor to life is startling. Dustin doesn't have your pretty vocal delivery, but damn his voice is powerful and compelling and his stage presence demands attention. Kevin, you're not just playing back up for your talented kid here. You're sharing stage space with a musical force to be reckoned with.

that gave me chills......thanks. By the way, I know dustin would want me to direct a lot of credit for 2 horses to our friend and mentor Mark Germino. He's
been a great teacher to Dustin and they have written some fine songs together. But you're right, he's a force and I'm proud as hell. I should add
that his sis Savannah is blowing our doors off right now.

Wow, I haven't seen this. Dustin plays his guitar very comfortably and that always makes me relax into a song...and Kevin, damn! I was spellbound by your
guitar playing. I love that guitar duo bit and the Spanish influence. I could listen to that all night, all week-the two of you playing together. I hope to
hear Dustin live someday.
